 ATTENTION...THE FOLLOWING STAGES OF PARTICULAR SIGNIFICANCE

MONITOR STAGE
        W F CARSON RIVER AT WOODFORDS 
        E F CARSON RIVER AT GARDNERVILLE 
        WEST WALKER RIVER AT COLEVILLE 


MOST EASTERN SIERRA RIVERS AND STREAMS CONTINUE TO FLOW AT HIGH LEVELS
THIS MORNING DUE TO SNOWMELT RUNOFF AND RAINFALL.  THESE HIGH FLOWS ARE
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY DUE TO FORECAST RAINFALL.

THE HUMBOLDT RIVER AND ITS TRIBUTARIES ALSO CONTINUE TO FLOW AT 
HIGH LEVELS DUE TO SNOWMELT RUNOFF AND SCATTERED RAINFALL.  

MOST TRIBUTARIES OF THE HUMBOLDT ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN TO RECEDE
OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS WITH COOLER TEMPERATURES AND DECREASED 
SNOWMELT RUNOFF.

THE MAINSTEM OF THE HUMBOLDT RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE SLOWLY OVER 
THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS SNOWMELT AND RAINFALL RUNOFF FROM THE PAST WEEK
MOVES DOWNSTREAM.
