 ATTENTION...THE FOLLOWING STAGES OF PARTICULAR SIGNIFICANCE
             HAVE OCCURRED OR ARE EXPECTED TO OCCUR

        MARYS RIVER AT TWIN BUTTES 
        HUMBOLDT RIVER AT COMUS 
MONITOR STAGE
        W F CARSON RIVER AT WOODFORDS 
        WEST WALKER RIVER AT COLEVILLE 
        HUMBOLDT RIVER AT PALISADE 
        HUMBOLDT RIVER AT BATTLE MOUNTAIN 


WARM TEMPERATURES ARE PRODUCING INCREASED SNOWMELT RUNOFF AND 
HIGH FLOWS ON MOST EASTERN SIERRA RIVERS AND STREAMS.  THESE HIGH
FLOWS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR SEVERAL DAYS.  NOTE:  THE WEST 
WALKER AT COLEVILLE OBSERVED STAGE IS ESTIMATED DUE TO BAD DATA 
RECEIVED FROM THE GAGE.

SNOWMELT RUNOFF IS ALSO PRODUCING INCREASED FLOWS ON SOME TRIBUTARIES
OF THE HUMBOLDT RIVER.  THE MAINSTEM OF THE HUMBOLDT IS EXPECTED TO 
CONTINUE TO RECEDE SLOWLY OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
